Pilot is a tall, handsome fellow. He came from Alaska with Titan, Foam, Avalanche, Logger, Barley, Ale, and Clyde. He is very pleasant, and gets along with pretty much all of the other dogs. He enjoys relaxing outside with Barely, Logger, Ale, and Avalanche. After shedding out his thicker Alaskan fur in the Ithaca summer heat, Pilot developed a shiny, soft coat. He also likes to dig holes, but only if someone else has already started the job!

Prior to coming to Cornell, Pilot and his team were mid-distance runners. He was able to lead the group when necessary. Pilot is one of our dogs who ran the Iditarod during his racing career, and he was last in training during the 2017 racing season

Pilot's boarding costs are 10$/day. We will keep supporting Pilot “till all the seas gang dry, and the rocks melt with the sun”, but you can also help. Adopt Pilot by subscribing to donate 5$ a month and you will receive monthly news on his

well-being, pictures and Vaika supporter's T-shirt.
