Una us a sweet, pretty girl who came to Cornell from Michigan along with Shaq, Anvik, Koyuk, Cisco, Skwetna, and Brooke. She is a bit shy, but has warmed up tremendously to her new people since her arrival. Now she loves belly rubs and ear scratches. When she gets excited about upcoming attention, she gets very wiggly. Una and her sister Skwetna look very similar. They both have slender faces with very fluffy, soft fur! Una likes to hang out outside with Brooke, Skwetna, and their buddy Cisco.

​Before coming to Cornell, Una was a distance runner. She and her team went on long runs through the wilderness. Their team size varied slightly, but was around 11 dogs for big runs and 5-6 for training sessions. Una trained for sessions of 1.5 hours, and her big runs were about 4 hours, then a break, then another 2 hours. Una performed best in a swing position, and was a little slow to get started, but a great team player!
